The Best Therapist Is the One That’s Right for You

Every LOOP therapist works within the same approach to therapy. They share the same values, training and philosophy. What differs is their life experience and unique lens. Those differences shape the relationship you build together, and that relationship is one of the strongest predictors of whether therapy works.

Ben works with adults who find themselves questioning who they are, where they’re headed, or how they want to live.

Many of his clients arrive during periods of transition or uncertainty. They may be navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, career changes, or a growing sense that life no longer feels aligned with who they are. Others are searching for greater purpose, meaning, or a deeper understanding of themselves.

How he works: Ben’s approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed and deeply collaborative. Rather than offering quick solutions, he creates a thoughtful space where clients can explore long-standing patterns, make sense of difficult experiences, and move towards a way of living that feels more authentic and intentional.

Sessions are paced with patience, curiosity and compassion. Ben believes lasting change comes through understanding yourself more fully, strengthening your relationships, and reconnecting with what matters most.

Interests & Expertise: Alongside his psychotherapy training, Ben has a longstanding interest in life transitions, identity development, purpose and meaning. He also has over a decade of experience facilitating nature-based practices, rites of passage and eco-therapy, which continue to inform his understanding of personal growth and transformation.

Ben has a particular interest in supporting people to make sense of significant life experiences, including spiritual experiences, major transitions and questions of identity, helping them integrate these into a life that feels coherent and meaningful.
